The Xavier Philosophy

The Xavier Coffee philosophy is simple. To roast the highest quality coffee and provide the best possible service.

You've probably heard it all before, but at Xavier, we carry out on our promise of excellence and we do it every day. You wouldn't buy stale bread would you? So why buy stale coffee? Our coffee is always freshly roasted and tastes delicious.

Quality Coffee

Our blends consist of 100% high grade Arabica beans. The Arabica coffee plant is grown at high altitudes, is less hardy and takes longer to grow than its relative the Robusta plant. Arabica coffee beans are more flavoursome with more body. And they're dearer.

Having the right beans is a start but the work only begins there. A lot of time and effort goes into taste testing to find the right mix of beans and right proportions to create a winner blend.

Our coffee is roasted to order and packed at the right time into bags with degassing valves to lock in the flavours and freshness.

Rainforest Alliance

At Xavier Coffee, we are very environmentally and socially aware. We try our best to source quality Rainforest Alliance beans where we can. Sixty percent of our Emporio Signature blend consists of Rainforest Alliance Certified beans. So you know that each Xavier cup of coffee is helping farmers and their families, the environmental and the whole community. Through the Sustainable Agricultural Network (SAN), Rainforest Alliance works with farmers to ensure compliance with SAN standards which brings about positive change through environmentally sustainable farming techniques, improved conditions and profitability for farmers, and the protection of wildlife and their habitat. We wouldn't do it any other way.

Philanthropic Activity

We at Xavier Coffee believe in giving back to society and helping to make the world a better place. That is why we support World Vision and are always on the look out for ways to make a difference in our own backyard.
